TAMPA, Fla., May 26 (UPI) -- A sea-and-air search continued Tuesday for an 18-year-old boy who fell from the 10th deck of a Carnival cruise ship off Florida, the U.S. Coast Guard said.

Bruce O'Krepki was on a cruise aboard the Carnival Fantasy with other new high school graduates from Hammond, La., when he fell overboard Sunday night about 150 miles southwest of Tampa, CNN reported Tuesday.

O'Krepki, with his parents acting as cruise chaperones, had sailed from New Orleans Saturday. The ship was headed for Key West when he fell, the Coast Guard said.

The circumstances of the fall remained unknown, CNN reported. Friends described O'Krepki as someone who loved to run track and was on his high school's soccer team.
