Cops: Girl, 15, lured into sex ring

TORONTO, May 25 (UPI) -- A Toronto man lured a 15-year-old girl into a prostitution ring being run out of a condominium in the city's financial district, police say.

Renan Gazzali Esahak, 40, of Richmond Hill, Ont., was charged Saturday with sexual interference, living on the avails of prostitution and keeping a common bawdy house in a Bay Street condominium, the National Post reported.

Police said the 15-year-old was being forced to work as a prostitute by Esahak and had been taken to a safe place by officers, the newspaper said.

Authorities said they had discovered ads online and in local newspapers attempting to sway women to prostitution, as well as $14,200 in cash.
