TEHRAN, May 24 (UPI) -- The leaders of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran are meeting in Tehran for talks on combating international terrorism and drug-trafficking, their offices said Sunday.

Hamid Karzai, Asif Ali Zardari and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will also focus on strengthening regional cooperation on energy, transportation, health, trade and agriculture, the Iranian government's official Islamic Republic News Agency, IRNA, reported.

The three leaders have been invited to meet with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, IRNA said.

The event in Tehran is the second trilateral meeting for the three countries.
