Long apologizes for actions during service

OTTAWA, May 18 (UPI) -- The Canadian government has lifted its advisory against non-essential travel to Mexico now that swine flu has abated, travel officials said.
Canadian Border Services still will be checking for signs of H1N1, commonly called swine flu, and some airlines still have restrictions in place, News1130 radio reported.
But the report quoted Clare Newell of Jubilee Travel as saying those restrictions should be withdrawn in June.
She said some people were still planning Mexican vacations in spite of those restrictions. Newell didn't expect any major deals for flights to Mexico in the height of the travel season, the report said.
