Mother said Josh Powell threatened her

NEW YORK, May 15 (UPI) -- New York police say they have charged a man with murder in the killing of a woman allegedly wooed on the Internet and ambushed on a park bench.
The victim, Nimzay Aponte, 23, whispered her alleged attacker's Internet name of "Mike" to officers before she died, the New York Daily News reported.
Police said they traced the name to Raymond Dennis, 35. a convicted drug dealer with more than a dozen arrests.
He allegedly had been stalking Aponte before flying into a rage at the sight of her with another man, a friend told police. Aponte was stabbed to death. Her companion was stabbed in the leg but survived.
