Megan McAllister had a 25-minute visit with Markoff -- jailed in Boston after being accused of fatally shooting masseuse Julissa Brisman April 14 and of robbing four days earlier another masseuse he met on Craigslist -- CBS' "The Early Show" reported.
"I think she feels good about coming up and seeing him, but now it's time to move on with other things in her life," McCallister's attorney Robert Honechker Jr. said Thursday "The Early Show."
"(The) wedding that's been planned is obviously off," Honechker said. "There's no plans to reschedule any wedding. It's being dismantled."
Markoff has pleaded not guilty and was suspended from Boston University's medical school pending resolution of his case.
McCallister realizes Markoff faces serious charges, Honechker said.
"And there's a point where he has to face those charges through the criminal justice system, and she has to move on with the things that she also has planned, other than their wedding, in her life," the attorney said. "And that's what she's going to do."
