Two Milwaukee firemen fired for video slur

MILWAUKEE, April 29 (UPI) -- Milwaukee's fire chief says two firefighters lost their jobs over a raunchy YouTube video in which racial slurs were uttered.

Firefighter Marcus Eastern was fired and paramedic Edgar Brooks resigned over the incident in which the pair was joking around at their fire station and using derogatory language.

WISN-TV, Milwaukee, said Fire Chief Douglas Holt contended the pair misrepresented their positions as firefighters.

WISN said Eastern was appealing his dismissal through the firefighters union.
