PRAGUE, Czech Republic, April 28 (UPI) -- A Prague physician says three Czech tourists, back from Mexico, probably were not infected with swine flu, but test results are still to be completed.
The head of the infectious diseases unit in Prague's Bulovka hospital Tuesday said the three patients would not have been hospitalized had they not just returned from Mexico, Prague Radio reported.
However, the three, admitted with regular flu symptoms, will stay hospitalized until their test results are completed, the radio said.
Michael Vit, the Czech chief health inspector said the country has prepared 2 million vaccines against various types of flu. He added the Bulovka hospital prepared 20 beds for emergency treatment of patients in case of a swine flu epidemic.
The current 6-month Czech presidency of the European Union has summoned a meeting of EU health ministers for Thursday to discuss threats of swine flu, the radio said.
