North Korea reconfirms leaving nuke talks

SEOUL, April 24 (UPI) -- North Korea has reaffirmed its decision to quit the six-way nuclear talks, Pyongyang's foreign ministry said Friday.

North Korea announced last week it would quit the disarmament talks and switch on its nearly-disabled nuclear facilities in Yongbyon to protest the U.N.'s condemnation of its launch.

The talks usually are hosted by member nations or the United Nations.
