ST. LOUIS, April 19 (UPI) -- The coach car of a slow-moving Amtrak train derailed in St. Louis, delaying the travels of 99 passengers, Amtrak officials said.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported the Saturday night derailment stranded the passengers as crews worked to disconnect the derailed car and its trailing two cars from the rest of train.

The coach car came off the tracks due to unspecified reasons as the train was leaving a downtown station at about 9 mph.

No passengers or crew on board the train were hurt in the minor derailment, the Post-Dispatch said.
