22 killed, 15 hurt in Pakistan bombing

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, April 18 (UPI) -- At least 22 people were killed and 15 wounded Saturday when a suicide bomber rammed a truck into a Pakistani military convoy, officials said.

Police officials in the Hangu district of Pakistan's North West Frontier province said the bombing happened at a security checkpoint near the village of Doaba, CNN said.

Five security personnel were among those killed at the checkpoint, which was destroyed, Pakistan's English-language newspaper Dawn reported.
