WOODSTOCK, Ontario, April 13 (UPI) -- Authorities said Monday they had ended their ground search for a missing 8-year-old Canadian girl a video shows walking off with an unknown woman.

Victoria "Tori" Stafford of Woodstock, Ontario, was last seen Wednesday. She failed to make it home after school and an extensive search by dozens of police and hundreds of volunteers failed to turn up any sign of her, The London Free Press reported. Police dogs and helicopters also aided in the hunt.

"Every indication we have tells us that Tori willingly walked away with the unidentified female so we are investigating a missing-persons case," police said in a statement.

The video taken from a nearby high school shows Tori walking with the woman after she left her elementary school, the newspaper said.
