Playboy sued for sexual harassment

CHICAGO, March 31 (UPI) -- A Chicago lawyer and former Playboy columnist says she is suing the company for more than $4.5 million in damages for alleged sexual harassment.

Corrie Fetman, 45, a divorce lawyer who posed nude for Playboy and wrote the "Lawyer of Love" column, alleges she was harassed by Thomas Hagopian, an executive of Playboy Enterprises who since has left the company, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday.

In a lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court, Fetman alleges Hagopian took away her magazine column last July when she rebuffed his advances. Fetman alleges Hagopian groped her and sent her sexually explicit e-mails and phone calls.

Hagopian could not be reached for comment and a Playboy spokeswoman said the company could not comment on the suit or the reason for Hagopian's departure, the Tribune reported.

Through her lawyer, Timothy Ashe, Fetman said the alleged harassment caused her to lose focus at work and become so depressed she sought medical care.

"Everybody has a breaking point," Ashe said of Fetman. "She is not an overly sensitive person."
