SEOUL, March 28 (UPI) -- Authorities say two aides to South Korea's president have resigned after allegedly being caught in a police raid on a brothel in Seoul.

The aides, publicly identified only by their surnames Jang and Kim, allegedly went to the brothel March 24 when they were drunk, not knowing police had the brothel under observation, The Korea Times reported Saturday.

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak reportedly had warned his staff to avoid alcohol and to observe high moral standards as representatives of Cheong wa dae, the presidential Blue House, the Times reported.
