SAO PAULO, March 24 (UPI) -- The Brazilian government said Tuesday it would lend $700 million to Argentine airline Aerolineas Argentinas to buy Brazilian planes.
The money will be spent on aircraft made by Brazilian plane-maker Embraer, Estado news agency reported online.

The planes -- 20 in all -- will reportedly be delivered to Aerolineas Argentinas over the next five years.
