Teen dies after police use stun gun

BAY CITY, Mich., March 23 (UPI) -- A 15-year-old boy died after police in Bay City, Mich., used a stun gun to subdue him, say state police who are investigating the death.

The boy died Sunday after city police were called to break up a fight in an apartment complex, The Saginaw (Mich.) News reported Monday.

Police said the stun gun was used after the boy refused to calm down and tried to fight police and others in the apartment, the News reported.

Police haven't released the boy's name or the name of the police officer who fired the stun gun.
