ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, March 16 (UPI) -- Five people were killed in Pakistan's North-West Frontier province by rockets fired from a U.S. drone, sources say.

Unnamed Pakistani intelligence officials told PakTribune the attack using the unmanned aircraft happened late Sunday near Bannu, Pakistan, bordering the lawless tribal area of North Waziristan, which U.S. officials say is a key base for al-Qaida and other terrorist groups attacking NATO troops in Afghanistan.

The intelligence officials said the dead included two Arabs and three other people in the village of Chota Janikhel, the news service reported.
