Pentagon held in contempt in Gitmo case
Thursday, December 10
HAVANA, March 2 (UPI) -- Cuban leader Raul Castro Monday reshuffled his presidential Cabinet, removing two of his most prominent ministers.
Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque and Cabinet Secretary Carlos Lage were among the 10 politicians replaced by Castro.
Castro also replaced his finance, labor and economic ministers.
It is the first major reshuffle within the Castro administration since Castro took over for his older brother Fidel, the long-time Cuban leader who stepped down last year because of illness.
The move was seen as an effort by Raul Castro to revamp an administration that was filled with officials that served his brother for several years.
