GRENOBLE, France, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Authorities say two British men died after leaving a bar on foot and falling over a cliff at a French ski resort in the Alps.
Richard Ryan, 27, and Christopher Lockwood, 28, both from Leeds, England, died Wednesday while trying to find their chalet after a night out in Les Deux Alps, The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.
Last month, Rachel Ward, a 20-year-old British college student, died after leaving a party, becoming lost and falling into a river at the Val d'Isere ski resort in France.
French authorities also confirmed Saturday that the body of Christopher Hilton, a teacher from Stalybridge, Cheshire in England, was found on a cliff in the Oisans range of the central French Alps.
Hilton, 32, disappeared last July while hiking alone and had fallen at least 300 feet, said the Grenoble mountain rescue service.
