Satanist pleads guilty to biting boy, 9

MUNCIE, Ind., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- A self-proclaimed white supremacist and Satanist pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily harm for biting a boy at least 13 times, Indiana officials said.

Dmitriy Sklyarov, 20, of Muncie, Ind., pleaded guilty to the Class D felony, with his attorney arguing Sklyarov was playing with the boy when he bit the 9-year-old on the arms and legs, The Star Press newspaper in Muncie reported Monday.

Delaware County Circuit Judge Thomas Cannon Jr. accepted the terms of a plea agreement that called for a one-year jail term and $100 fine.

In a letter to Cannon before his trial, Sklyarov said claims that he was incompetent were based on his Nazi beliefs and worship of Satan.

"It does not take too much to be considered insane when you are not a brainwashed sheep that believes everything they say on the mass media," he said in the letter. "Jews and Christians communicate with their God in their places of worship, but when I communicate with my God, I am insane."
