NEW DELHI, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- U.S. special envoy Richard Holbrooke has arrived in New Delhi, where he will meet with Indian officials.
Holbrooke, who serves as the White House's envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan, will meet External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and National Security Adviser M.K. Narayanan on Monday, Press Trust of India reported.
India is the last leg of Holbrooke's 10-day fact-finding trip to the region. He has also visited Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The news service reported that Indian officials are likely to discuss with Holbrooke the threat of terrorism from Pakistan, following the attacks on Mumbai late last year.
India also is seeking to have the United States suspend military aid to Pakistan amid criticism that Islamabad is misusing aid funds.
