CHICAGO, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- No Chicago police officers were involved in an alleged phone call threat made this week against U.S. President Barack Obama, officials say.
Police officials told Saturday's Chicago Sun-Times that none of the department's officers were involved in an alleged threatening call made to the FBI. The Secret Service is trying to determine was ever made at all, sources told the newspaper.
The alleged call is said to have come into the FBI from the scene of a Chicago death investigation. But Chicago Police Department spokeswoman Monique Bond said officials are confident no police officers were involved, the Sun-Times said.
