LONDON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Dutch left-wing politician Geert Wilders says he will go to Britain despite a government order banning his entry into the country over an anti-Islamic film.
Wilders has been invited by the U.K. Independence Party to show his film, "Fitna," and hold a discussion session Thursday in Parliament, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
"Let them put me in handcuffs," Wilders said, vowing to ignore the ban on his entry.
The British newspaper reported the 17-minute documentary features verses from the Koran alongside images of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States and the July 7, 2005, terrorist attacks on London's public transportation system.
Calling the Koran a "fascist book," the movie equates the holy text with violence and ends with a call to Muslims to remove its "hate-preaching" verses.
After viewing the documentary, British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith rolled up the welcome mat, saying Wilders' visit was a threat to "community harmony and therefore public security," the newspaper reported.
