DA: Boy used Facebook for sexual blackmail

NEW BERLIN, Wis., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- A Milwaukee-area high school student is accused of blackmailing other boys into sex encounters after posing as a girl on Facebook, a criminal complaint said.

Anthony Stancl, 18, of New Berlin, Wis., allegedly used the trick on the social networking Web site to persuade at least 31 boys from New Berlin Eisenhower Middle/High School to send him naked pictures of themselves, the complaint by the district attorney said.

He then allegedly blackmailed at least seven boys, ages 15 to 17, into performing sex acts under the threat that he would release their photos to the rest of the high school, District Attorney Brad Schimel said to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The sexual assaults occurred in a high school bathroom, the school parking lot, a public library restroom, several parks and at some of the boys' homes, he said in the complaint.

The incidents occurred from spring 2008 until Stancl's arrest in November, Schimel said. He was arrested in connection with Nov. 12 and 13 bomb threats that closed Eisenhower Nov 14.

Stancl, who was expelled from school, allegedly had 300 photos and movie clips on his computer of 13- to 19-year-old boys from the school, Schimel said.
