Helicopter crash kills three in Russia

MOSCOW, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- All three crew members aboard a combat helicopter died Tuesday in a crash in the Volga Federal District, said Russian air force officials.

The Mi-24 helicopter crashed in the Saratov Region near the Pugachov aerodrome, Lt. Col. Vladimir Drik told RIA Novosti.

Investigators have recovered the helicopter's flight recorders, RIA Novosti reported.
