BOGOTA, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Authorities are offering a $77,500 reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible for setting off a deadly bomb in Bogota, Colombia.
The BBC reported two people died in the Tuesday blast in an upscale northern neighborhood of the capital. It appeared the bomb was placed in an automatic cash machine in a video shop, the British network said.
No group had claimed responsibility for the attack, which caused a partial collapse of the two-story building. However, Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos said it had the earmarks of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, the leftist rebel organization that has battled the Colombian government for the better part of four decades and has been known to try to extort money from businesses.
