Hawaii sees highest surf in decades

BAGHDAD, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Four coalition soldiers were killed Monday when two aircraft went down in northern Iraq, U.S. military officials said.
The cause is unknown and being investigated, CNN reported. However, officials said the aircraft did not appear to be hit by enemy fire.
The two U.S. helicopters crashed in Saladin governorate, north of Baghdad, the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.
Also on Monday, a roadside bomb exploded near a police patrol in northern Baghdad, wounding nine officers and two civilians, Iraq's Interior Ministry told CNN. The explosion occurred in the Mansour neighborhood where the Algerian embassy is located.
