WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- U.S. President-elect Barack Obama has rehearsed his inaugural address, which will last about 15 to 20 minutes, sources say.
Obama's speech will be delivered after his swearing-in ceremony Tuesday in Washington, with wife Michelle holding President Lincoln's Bible, ABC News reported Monday.
The U.S. broadcaster quoted unnamed sources saying Obama has been tinkering with the address since he first rehearsed it Saturday, but has maintained its focus on a call for individual responsibility in tough economic times.
His Monday pre-inauguration ceremonies includes setting a tone of bipartisanship with three dinners to honor people who have reached across the aisle, including Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the man Obama defeated to become president.
The McCain dinner is a "measure of the bridges they are trying to build … That is remarkable," ABC News analyst George Stephanopoulos told the network's "Good Morning America" show.
