Earthquake kills two in Costa Rica

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- An earthquake rocked Costa Rica Thursday killing at least two people and injuring 20 more, officials said.

The quake measuring 6.2 on the Richter Scale rattled homes and other buildings in the capital and caused a temporary power outage, San Jose, al Dia newspaper reported online.

The two killed were children selling candy at a national forest, according to local news sources.
