DETROIT, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- General Motors says its latest custom-built presidential limousine makes its debut on Jan. 20 when it carries president-elect Barack Obama to his inauguration.
The 2009 Cadillac replaces the 2006 Caddy that President George Bush has been using.
The Detroit News said Tuesday the only specification revealed by Cadillac is the fact that it holds a 10-disc CD player and a range of security features. Other specs, such as weight and engine size, remain classified.
The Secret Service has been undergoing training with new limo and will take possession of the Bush car after Inauguration Day.
