Canadian nuns seek recruits through ads

DETROIT, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- A new lawsuit alleges that the Detroit airport is in violation of laws requiring access for disabled travelers.
The suit filed this week complains that Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Northwest Airlines with not having the proper accommodations for disabled passengers trying to get from the parking garage to the gate, the Detroit News said Wednesday.
Specific allegations include ramps that are too steep and moving walkways that are dangerous for people in wheelchairs.
The suit was filed on behalf of five plaintiffs.
The News said a hearing on the case is scheduled for Thursday in Detroit federal court.
