LONDON, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- British authorities say a teenage girl has accused Harrods owner Mohamed al-Fayed of forcibly kissing her in his London store.
The girl, believed to be 15, alleges Fayed forced himself on her after they met in his store while she was shopping with her mother, The Sun reported Wednesday.
Fayed, who interviewed by police, denies any wrongdoing and said he is confident his name will be cleared.
Fayed, who was born in Egypt, repeatedly has been denied a British passport, despite living in England for many years, the Sun reported, noting he often has clashed with the British government.
An inquest into the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, rejected Fayed's claim that she was killed by British intelligence agents because she was pregnant with the child of his son, Dodi, who died with Diana when their car crashed in a tunnel in Paris in 1997.
