BAGHDAD, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Four members of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah organization have been arrested by U.S. forces in Iraq, military officials said Monday.

One of the militants was arrested in a raid on his hideout in the Baghdad district of Al-Rasafah, KUNA, the Kuwait news agency, reported. No shooting occurred in the operation, officials said. They said the other three Hezbollah members were detained in a separate operation.

The U.S. military says the Lebanese group's Iraq branch is supported by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and is allegedly responsible for terrorist actions, KUNA reported.
