Doctors at Great Ormond Street hospital said in order to facilitate Williams' recovery following the operation, she would have to undergo at least one surgery to repair her stomach, The Daily Mail reported.
In addition, doctors warned that the 8-day-old would likely require heart surgery if she were to survive.
The infant's sister, Hope, died Tuesday after an 11-hour operation separated the conjoined twins.
While doctors have been able to stabilize Faith Williams, who was born Nov. 26, the infant is only breathing thanks to a ventilator.
Surgical team head, Professor Agostino Pierro, told the Mail that Hope's chances of survival were particularly low since the infant had significantly smaller lungs than her sibling.
The Mail said the twins' parents, Laura and Aled Williams, have remained at the London hospital to monitor the child's condition.
