7 missing in ship collision, 1 survivor

NINGBO, China, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Seven people were reported missing Wednesday after their fishing boat collided with a freighter in the sea off east China's Zhejiang Province, police said.

The sole known survivor said his boat capsized in less than 10 minutes after the collision. He was saved by a nearby boat, the Xinhua news service said.

An investigation was under way.
