Bush delivers remarks on World Aids Day in Washington

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. President George Bush says he's glad the glare of the spotlight will be focused on someone else in a few weeks.

"I'd like to live life without being in the limelight for a while," Bush said in an interview that aired on ABC's "Good Morning America." "I think it's going to be real important for me to get off the stage."

Bush wished his successor, President-elect Barack Obama, "the very best," adding, "I don't want to be out there critiquing his every move."
