Bushes look toward Dallas 'afterlife'

WASHINGTON, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- First lady Laura Bush Sunday hinted her family will call Dallas home once it enters "the afterlife" after leaving the White House.

President George W. Bush turns over the White House keys to President-elect Barack Obama after the inauguration Jan. 20.

Appearing on NBC News' "Meet the Press," the former first lady indicated she had plans for when she leaves Washington -- "That's right, the afterlife," she said.

Where will the Bushes call home?

"It will be a split. We'll spend, probably, the weeks in Dallas (where the Bush presidential library will be), and the weekends at the ranch (in Crawford, Texas)."
