LYSVA, Russia, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Police in the Russian town of Lysva have launched a hunt for the drug dealers who supplied the heroin that caused about 50 people to overdose.
One user died as a result of the mass-overdose in the community in Perm Territory, Itar-Tass reported Wednesday.

Investigators couldn't confirm reports Wednesday that the heroin was a synthetic variety known as "White Chinaman" that was purer than the usual street versions of the drug.
The news agency said federal narcotics agents had arrested one low-level dealer in their investigation and had more leads to follow.
