A park spokesman told the Los Angeles Times there is a threat of rockslides at Glacier Point.
"We basically drew a new line," said spokesman Scott Gediman. "Anything behind the line, we're closing."
Curry Village has provided cabins and tent lodging for park visitors for about a century.
The Times reported Friday that falling rocks over the past 12 years have killed two people and injured a dozen others. Geologists recently determined that the area susceptible to slides was encroaching on Curry Village.
One rockslide occurred last month shortly after a large group of schoolchildren had left the impact zone, the Times said.
