TORONTO, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Four adults found dead in a Toronto home Wednesday died of what police called familial violence.
Neighbors said three people lived in the home, a couple and their son. A daughter and her partner apparently were visiting the home, CanWest News Service reported.
"We observed (the aftermath of) a fair amount of violence," said Toronto Police Detective Pauline Gray. "We're not going to speak to manner of death."
One man taken into custody at the scene had not been arrested.
"We are not looking for a suspect at this point," Gray said.
A handwritten sign on the front door of the bungalow said: "Do not enter. Call police." Global News reported a door had been kicked in.
Constable Tony Vela told the Toronto Star officers responded to a "suspicious incident" call to the house about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday.
