WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The Bush twins have given President-elect Barack Obama's girls a private look at the White House to help them prepare for the move to Washington.

First Lady Laura Bush invited her successor, Michelle Obama, with Malia and Sasha and Michelle's mother, Marion Robinson, for the visit Tuesday, the New York Daily News reported. Michelle Obama has already had one White House visit with her husband.

Sally McDonough, a White House spokeswoman, said that Barbara and Jenna Bush "enjoyed showing their rooms to the Obama girls."

Michelle Obama had brought her daughters to Washington to look at schools.

Claire Whitcomb, author of "Real Life At The White House," said the most likely rooms for the Obama girls are the West and East bedrooms, also known as the "Yellow" and "Blue" rooms. Caroline Kennedy, Amy Carter and Chelsea Clinton all used the West room, while John F. Kennedy Jr. slept in the East. Ronald Reagan, with no young children, used the East Room as a gym.
