Jet, luggage tug collide

DETROIT, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Authorities say one person was injured Thursday when a luggage trailer clipped the wing of a passenger jet at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

The driver of the Delta Airlines trailer was hospitalized after it collided with an arriving Northwest Airlines jet heading to a gate to let passengers disembark, The Detroit News reported.

The 21 passengers and three-member crew aboard the jet, which was arriving from Grand Rapids, Mich., weren't injured, the News reported, noting the collision remains under investigation.
