WASILLA, Alaska, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she relishes the national spotlight and won't rule out running for a spot on the 2012 Republican presidential ticket.

"It was amazing and very, very busy and energizing, Every day was an amazing experience and I loved it," Palin said of her experience as running mate for 2008 Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Palin returned to Alaska following McCain's loss to Barack Obama, but she is scheduled to speak this week in Miami at the Republican Governors Association conference, The Anchorage Daily News reported Monday.

Palin also plans to hold a press availability at the conference and has scheduled interviews with Fox News and NBC News to answer questions about her future in U.S. politics, ABC News reported Monday.

Palin said she blamed McCain's loss on voters' anger with "a 10 trillion dollar debt in a Republican administration" and "blunders in war strategy under a Republican administration."

Palin did not rule out running for president or vice president in 2012 and predicted the "eyes of the nation" will be on Alaska for a long time, the Daily News said.
