CHANGSHA, China, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Emergency workers digging through the rubble of a home hit by a landslide in central China found another body Saturday, bringing the death toll to six.

All the dead were members of one family, Xinhua, the official government news agency, reported. Another family, who also lived in the building in the village of Huanxin, were out when dirt, loosened and turned to mud by heavy rain, inundated the structure in Hunan province Friday evening.

Liu Caibao died in the slide, along with his father, an uncle, a niece and two daughters. His wife, Tian Yuxiang, was hospitalized in critical condition.

The government of Pingjiang county has warned of the danger of additional mudslides, especially on hillsides below reservoirs.
