LAS VEGAS, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- A Las Vegas judge said Friday there would be no new trial for O.J. Simpson.

Clark County Judge Jackie Glass rejected a motion that sought for a new trial for Simpson and co-defendant Clarence Stewart on grounds of alleged jury misconduct, KLAS-TV in Las Vegas said.

The judge also refused a request to lower their bail.

Simpson and Stewart were convicted Oct. 3 of kidnapping and robbery in a confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room. Simpson and others had gone to the room to retrieve items he said were his property.

Simpson and Stewart face possible life terms when they are sentenced Dec. 5.
