BAGHDAD, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Security sources in Iraq say a car bomb blew up near the Baghdad airport Wednesday, killing four Iraqis and injuring 10.

The Kuwait New Agency, KUNA, said the explosion took place at a security checkpoint on the highway leading into the airport and that at least one police officer and the suicide bomber were among the dead.

Security teams cordoned off the area while the injured were treated and then transported to a hospital.
