MADRID, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Spanish officials say they have arrested the owner of a cell phone allegedly used to issue a warning about a car bombing that injured 20 people.
The person was arrested in Bilboa, Spain, Friday and he has since been transferred to Madrid, thinkSPAIN reported.
The explosives, placed in a white Peugot 306 that had been stolen the previous day in Zumaya, were detonated in a parking lot at Navarra University in Pamplona Thursday morning, officials said, adding that a warning call to a road traffic information organization was made at 9:50 a.m. from a cell phone.
The bomb went off behind the Edificio Central, near the school's library, about 11 a.m., thinkSPAIN reported. Most of the injured were struck by flying glass.
The bombing happened days after three ETA terror suspects were detained in Pamplona, the news service said.
