WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Ken Duberstein, who served as chief of staff for former President Ronald Reagan, says he will vote for Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential election.

Duberstein joins a growing list of prominent Republicans who are supporting the Democratic nominee over Republican nominee John McCain. He told CNN's Fareed Zakaria his decision was influenced by the endorsement of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, who served as national security adviser in the Reagan White House.

"Well let's put it this way," said Duberstein, "I think Colin Powell's decision is in fact the good housekeeping seal of approval on Barack Obama."
