TIJUANA, Mexico, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Mexican authorities say they have found four bodies near the U.S.-Mexican border, including that of a police investigator.

Authorities said agent Isidro Huerta Diaz was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen Saturday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

That shooting took place about 200 yards from where the body of another shooting victim was found. Authorities suspect the same gunmen perpetrated both shootings.

In addition to the second gunshot victim, identified as 37-year-old Jaime Francisco Rodelo Lara, authorities found two more bodies in Tijuana Saturday morning.

Police suspect the bodies, which were found in a field, were those of men between the ages of 18 and 25 killed at the Hacienda Las Flores development.

The Union-Tribune also reported said four people were injured during the attack on Lara and all sought treatment at area hospitals.
