Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

FRANKFORT, Ky., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Marco Allen Chapman, who admitted killing two small children and sought the death penalty, could be executed in four weeks, Kentucky officials say.
The Kentucky Supreme Court threw out a request to reconsider the case in Frankfort and set Chapman's date of execution for Nov., 21.
Chapman, 36, had sought to have appeals on his behalf dropped and the death sentence carried out.
Chapman admitted going to the Warsaw home of a friend of his family, Carolyn Marksberry, raping and stabbing her, and then killing two of her children -- 6-year-old Cody and 7-year old Chelbi -- The Courier-Journal newspaper in Louisville, Ky., reported.
Kentucky's last previous execution came in 1999.
